In 2021, Provost Kai Campbell invited the entire campus to the celebration of research awards and grants at UNC Asheville honoring faculty and staff willing to share their accomplishments. The following academic year, Interim Provosts Kimberly van Noort and Herman Holt expanded the original theme to include scholarly and creative works.
